SeepepYacht Racing
We have a number of new boats in the racing fleet and the numbers appear to be rising, which is good news. This year will see us continue to use the National Handicap for Cruisers system to allow a broader number of boats to compete. If you are interested in joining in, even for only the occasional race there are always members who are pleased to provide advice and guidance. You can join in the fun of the racing season at any point in the year but you must complete a registration form, available at the club and online. The Sailing Calendar, including Notices of Race and Sailing instructions, Entry Forms and Race Marks are available as downloads.
The racing season begins in April and our annual Yacht Regatta will be held over the weekend 5th to 7th June 2020. As well as providing lots of fun racing the regatta has a full social programme off the water with food, music and socialising aplenty. We open with a novice helm race on Friday evening and plan to run at least 3 races over the weekend for both racing and white sail fleets.

Dinghy Racing
In recent years the dinghy race fleet has been going from strength to strength with numbers in double figures on many Wednesday evenings. With a slightly new format for dinghy racing, including 4 shorter race series in the Spring and Summer interspersed with ‘one off’ pursuit races; we anticipate that those numbers may well increase. Details are also listed in the schedule of training events on the club website. The Annual Dinghy Regatta will be held on the weekend 4th & 5th July 2020 with entries expected from a number of local clubs. If you are interested in joining in, even for only the occasional race, we are always pleased to provide advice and guidance. Most importantly the Cadets will continue to meet on Friday evenings and will hopefully be providing the crews, and champions of the future.
