Tamar River Sailing Club is a small friendly family club situated on the sunny Devon banks of the River Tamar. We have easy access to the open sea as Plymouth Sound and distant horizons are only a short sail away.
The Club has much to offer. We have recently become an RYA recognised training centre and are able to provide our members with a variety of sail and power courses. We also have a Sonar keel boat dedicated for the use of the active disabled Sailability Group.
Movement of traffic from seaward limit of the port and confluence of the Tamar/Lynher is suspended on Wednesday and Thursday 9 -10th July for HMS Victorious. PLNTM below.

I have put more pictures up on the Gallery. The pictures in the Dinghies2008 are courtesy of Colin Merry and challengeandadventure.com. Certainly worth while checking out that site.
I have put a link to QHM Plymouth under Local Notices to Mariners. Click on the link, go to Navigational Information and click on PLNTM. That will give you the list of all notices in force.
The Spring series has been concluded for both Yachts and Dinghies. The results are available on the racing page.
Also available on this page are the results of the Cargreen Cup, Three Rivers Cup and the Combined SSC/TRSC Regatta held on 13 - 15 th June.
Welcome to all dinghy sailors from your sailing committee for 2008.
Our rates are by far the cheapest in the area and our racing is enthusiastic. Please join us if you wish to enjoy our super facilities. We see dinghy racing as having the biggest potential for growth. If you do not own a dinghy, Tamar River Sailing Club has a fleet of dinghies that are available for rent at a fair price. There is a Vision, 2 Fevas, 4 Toppers and 4 Picos. Dinghy racing starts Wednesday at 18:30. There is no fee for racing.
Contact the club for more information.
The forum is now up and running. Please take time to have a look and sign up.
Edit: the new site has also been set as default so you can all benifit from the added features.
We urgently need more volunteers to man the race hut on race days. Yours truly has to attend PPSA meetings on the last Monday in each month. It may well be a case of sharing the job around the racers, if no support is forthcoming.
